Eligibility Criteria

Admission is open, to the master of technology course, to all the candidates who have passed B.E. / B.Tech. Examinations (in relevant field) of VTU or any other University / Institution or any other examinations recognised as equivalent thereto with not less than 50% of Marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examination. However in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and group -1, the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations shall not be less than 45% and

Admission is given to candidates who have passed with 50% aggregate marks in B.E. (Civil) Or Equivalent Degree and admission is based on the scores in PGCET / GATE

Course Details

The Department is well equipped with advanced infrastructure and state-of- the-art laboratories. The course includes many experiments and projects at Digital Electronics Lab, Analog Electronics Lab, Microprocessor Lab, Embedded Micro Controller Lab, VLSI Design Lab, DSP Developmental Systems, Microwave and Communication Labs. All the laboratories are geared wide range of Test Equipment and their accessories, modules/models, experimental workbenches to undertake prescribed experiments. Various Training Activities/ Seminar / Workshops will be regularly organized to improve the Technical Skills of both faculty and Students. Also corporate trainings are initiated to train the engineers from various companies.
