Eligibility Criteria

A 2nd PUC/10+2 or equivalent with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects. Chemistry/Electronics/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science as optional subjects. English as one of the languages. Minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC only from Karnataka state) from a recognized board.Valid rank in KCET/COMED-K/JEE Mains.

Course Details

SLN College of Engineering offers B.E./B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering with 60 intake seats. This department was established in 1984. Department has over 16 members of experienced teaching faculty which also includes guest faculty and support staff. Faculty of this department have expertise in DSP, VLSI design, and M-Core. Their experience and expertise helps to offer the basic needs based on latest elective subjects. Labs are modernized to include: Micro Lab, advanced microprocessor Lab, DSP, advanced communication lab, Matlab, microwaves lab, Digital fibre, along with other basic laboratories. Department gets grants from MHRD grants to upgrade the laboratories. There is a separate computer centre in the department.
