Eligibility Criteria

A 2nd PUC/10+2 or equivalent with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects. Chemistry/Electronics/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science as optional subjects. English as one of the languages. Minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC only from Karnataka state) from a recognized board.Valid rank in KCET/COMED-K/JEE Mains.

Course Details

SLN College of Engineering offers B.E./ B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 60 intake seats. This department was established in 1979, which is one of the oldest departments in the college. Mechanical department in SLNCE has over 10 members of experienced faculty, who actively take part in the on-campus as well as off-campus recruitment process. Department regularly organizes industry visits as there are 2 thermal power stations in very near vicinity of the college along with other industry visits to help the students upgrade their skills on par with the industry standards. Advanced software are provided in the department including: Iron CAD, ALGOR, Solid edge, ANSYS, NXCAM to provide advanced training to the students as per industry requirements.
