Course Details

The M.Tech in Mechanical Department was started in the year 2011-12, with 18 students of input. The classrooms are equipped with LCD projectors. The labs are equipped with 25 advanced computers, specially arranged for the PG students. The syllabus of this program includes analysis of dynamic and static forces for the designing of machine tools, to reach reliability, safety, strength and cost specifications. The program mainly focuses on the design mechanism of components using numerical, analytical, and experimental approaches. The aim of this program is to provide mechanism and failure modes in both static and dynamic conditions, behavioural knowledge of materials and systems in plastic and elastic ranges.
