Course Details

M.Tech program in the VLSI and Embedded Systems will cover the basics and engineering aspect of IC based systems design and development. The VLSI technology is a successful outcome of two streams: electrical engineering and material science. The development program in the VLSI technology requires physical device research as well as novel design and electrical circuit development. The program has an aim to develop the students with the skills of designing circuits and semiconductor devices, developing systems using installed components such as memory, CPU, and peripherals. Students will be trained in several topics that come across various domains, starting from the first level of using physical devices to the top level of developing the application. As per the rules and regulations of M.Tech, a student must complete 12course from core subjects and 8 courses to get specialization in this stream. Total 48 courses must be passed to hold a Master degree with VLSI and Embedded Systems specialization.
