Eligibility Criteria

II-Year Pre-University or XII Std. or equivalent exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology, Electronics. Not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages.

Admission Guidelines

Generally, admission is done on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam (CET/COMED-K) for all the B.E./B.Arch. courses.

Course Details

VNEC offers B.E./B. Tech in Civil Engineering with an intake of 60 students. This course was established in 2010 with a mission of conductive teaching to the students. The Department has highly experienced and well-qualified teaching staff. The department of Civil Engineering has: Surveying Lab, Material Testing Lab, Hydraulics and Hydraulic Machinery Lab, Civil CAD Lab, Engineering Geology Lab, Concrete and Highways Engineering Lab, Geotechnical Engineering Lab, Environmental Engineering Lab, and Structural Engineering Labs. All laboratories have state-of-art instruments and equipments. Periodic technical visits are arranged every year for the benefit of students. Department encourages the students to participate in technical competitions, paper presentations and quiz, seminars and conferences, workshops, etc.
