Eligibility Criteria

II-Year Pre-University or XII Std. or equivalent exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology, Electronics. Not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages.

Admission Guidelines

Generally, admission is done on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam (CET/COMED-K) for all the B.E./B.Arch. courses.

Course Details

VNEC offers B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with an intake of 60 students. This course was established in 2013 with a mission to inculcate leadership qualities and professional ethics in the students. Mechanical Engineering curriculum that is designed to provide the students with solid foundation in core disciplines like mechanics, manufacturing, and systems, together with essential areas of mathematics and physical sciences. The Mechanical Department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and infrastructural facilities in thrust areas like: Computer-Aided Machine Drawing and also Engineering Drawing, Metrology, Material Testing, Fluid Machines, Heat and Mass Transfer, Heat Engine, and Design Engineering Laboratory. Teaching faculty members involve in providing assistance to all the students to acquire practical oriented training.
