Eligibility Criteria

Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) from any recognised Board in India. Students pursuing International curriculum must have AIU approval and must obtain a grade of not less than 'C' or its equivalent.Candidates writing the +2 examinations may apply with their class X and XI marks

Admission Guidelines

Admission procedure includes Skill Assessment: The skill assessment will consist of a test on written skills, communication skills and logical reasoning and Personal interview: Assessment of past performance in class 10 and class 11/12 during personal interview. Candidates will be intimated about the Selection status (Selected / Wait Listed / Not Selected) through the “Application Status” link on the University website. The Selection results will be declared as mentioned in the important dates

Course Details

The undergraduate courses in economics are structured to contribute to the student’s liberal education with a multiplicity of combinations. The programmes impart analytical skills and intellectual maturity to comprehend the complexities in the working of the economy. The course provides a sound theoretical basis in economic theory supplemented by practical applications of theories. The sociology course aims to provide a systematic introduction to Sociology. It lays emphasis on the theoretical and methodological functions of Sociology. Psychology is one of the major subjects offered at the undergraduate level as part of the triple major programme. It is a three year full time course aimed at introducing students to the fundamental processes underlying human behavior and familiarize them with a few emerging fields and branches of psychology.
