Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has passed any Undergraduate degree examination with 50 % aggregate marks from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply. Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have secured 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of Undergraduate Examinations conducted so far. Students appearing for their final degree examinations are also eligible to apply

Admission procedure includes Entrance test, Skill Assessment and personal interview: The skill assessment will consist of a test on written skills, communication skills and logical reasoning and Personal interview: Assessment of past performance in X, XII and Degree ( if result awaited, marks available currently) during the Personal Interview. The Master of Science in Developmental Studies seeks to address critical developmental gaps in India and South Asia and create capacity and resources to meet the emerging needs for sustainable development. Development that is sustainable is of central importance in the agendas of numerous organizations ranging from corporations to NGOs, UN agencies, bi-lateral organizations, political parties, local government and international funding agencies. Students who opt for this programme will gain first-hand knowledge and skills to engage with rising issues such as global warming, limited energy resources, population growth and the rise of newer economies. Students will interact with international experts on themes that are of relevance world over. The programme will employ pedagogies such as problem-based learning, case studies and field visits.
