Applicants can obtain the application forms after remitting the prescribed application processing fee at Counter No.7, Office of Admissions, Ground Floor, Central Block, Christ University Main Campus, Bangalore.

OR

Applicants can fill-in and submit the application forms online on the University website. The online application can be either be processed after remitting the application processing fee at SBI core banking branches in the prescribed SBI Challan Format given in University website or through the payment gateway with a valid Credit / Debit Card / Net banking facility (details are given under the preferred program page in the University website). The online applications will be from 04:00 PM onwards, on December 08 2015.

Applicants should print / receive and sign the application form after filling in further details on the printed Online Application / Direct Mode Application form. They are advised to take a copy of the application form for their further reference and to produce at the time of selection process. Applicants should send / submit the application and the required supporting documents in an A4 size Envelope ONLY and kindly mention your programme applied for and Mobile Number.

Eligibility:

 

 

For MBA:

 

A composite score of 600 or above in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA in either September – 2015 or December 2015 OR a composite score of 450 or above in GMAT 2015 OR 70 percentile or above in the Common Management Admission test (CMAT 2015) OR 70 percentile or above in the Common Admission test 2015 (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) OR 70 percentage or above in the AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) 2015.

 

50% or above marks in aggregate in the undergraduate examinations. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have 50% or above aggregate in all the semesters / years of undergraduate examinations conducted so far). Students writing their final degree examinations during March-May 2016 are also eligible to apply.

 

Minimum Score specified for MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / ATMA / GMAT is only an eligibility criteria and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process
(Candidates must note that if selected, admission is provisional and subject to University rules – Any documents that are pending to be submitted to Office of Admissions, Christ University, must be submitted on or before August 20, 2016. Failing to submit the pending documents will be treated as unsuccessful in the qualifying exam and admission will be terminated from Christ University).

 

Selection Process

Group Discussion (GD)/ Micro Presentation (MP) – Group Discussion for 35 minutes for each group and Micro Presentation for 90 sec/ student in a group

Written  Assessment (WA)* Candidates will be asked to write on topic for not more than one A4 size sheet and for not more than 10 minutes

Verbal Assessment(VA)* and Personal interview (PI) Verbal Assessment and Personal interview for each candidate will be done by an expert panel

Academic Performance Assessment of past performance in Class 10,  Class 12, and Degree

*The Verbal Assessment (VA) will be conducted during the PI (Personal Interview) process.

The selection process includes the following criterion:
Academic performance in Class 10, Class 12 and undergraduate degree, Group discussion (GD), Micro Presentation (MP), Written Assessment (WA), Verbal Assessment (VA) and Personal Interview (PI).

Candidates must report for the above selection process on the allotted date and at least 30 minutes prior to the time stipulated on the selection process admit card.

Travel arrangements for out station candidates must be made in advance as per the selection process dates published on our website.

Those candidates not reaching the venue at the allotted date and time will not be permitted to take part in the selection process and the application fee is Non Refundable, in any case.

Candidates are requested to start early to avoid traffic congestions.

Request for change in Selection Process dates / timings and change in Centre will not be entertained.

Cellular phone, Satellite phone, pager. etc., are not allowed into the Selection Process Venue, in any case.

No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the Selection Process of Christ University at any Centre.

All candidates are requested to prepare for a Micro Presentation (Extempore) as part of the Selection Process. Candidates will be asked to speak on any of the topics given in our selection process link on “Topics for Presentation 2016″ during the GD. The MP topics will be released on December 15, 2015 by 3 pm.

Candidates have to access their selection process admit card from the link “Application Status” from our website and print the same.

Offer of admission to the MBA programme of Christ University will be based on availability of seats in the Main campus and Kengeri Campus.
